Christmas Services at Leacock

On Christmas Eve, Tuesday, December 24, there will be two services. The 7:00 p.m. service, held in the Paradise church, will be a Family Service, featuring some of the children in a retelling of the Christmas Story. The Bell Choir will play and the service will conclude with a “Silent Night” candlelighting. The 11:00 p.m. service of Lessons and Carols, held at the Old Leacock Church, will conclude with candlelighting, with Stephan Englehart singing “O Holy Night”. Old Leacock Presbyterian Church is located at the corner of Old Leacock Road and Rt. 340, Intercourse……………….……………………….On December 22, the Sunday before Christmas, there will be one service of Carols and Light at 9:30 a.m. at the Paradise Church. The Choir will feature Kurt Bestor’s “Prayer of the Children”, Natalie Sleeth’s “Comfort Ye” and Michael Barretts’ “African Advent Carol”, plus there will be the singing of Christmas Carols………………….The Rev. Robert W. Birch will officiate. Everyone is welcome.
