Inclement Weather
When on unsafe conditions exist, Sunday morning worship will be cancelled. The decision to close will be made by the available members from the following: Pastor, Clerk of Session, Trustee President. The decision will be communicated by 7:00 AM to mass media, the church website, and the church answering machine. Additionally, the pastor will send a group e-mail if services are cancelled.

The 13th Annual Community Hymnsing Series
“Singspiration”, will continue on Sunday, July 5, at the Historic Old Leacock Presbyterian Church, located at Old Philadelphia Pike and Old Leacock Road, 1 mile west of Intercourse. This year’s summer hymn sing series is very special as it will be dedicated to the 275th Anniversary of Old Leacock Presbyterian Church. Beginning at 7 p.m., the hymn sings will be led by Tom Perella, Accompaniment will be provided by Dianne Yuninger, who will play the church’s 113-year-old Estey’s pump organ. Lemonade will be served in the church courtyard after the hymn sings. The Old Leacock community hymn sings will continue on Sundays August 2, and will conclude on Sunday, September 6. Come and join in the singing of hymns and as we sing HAPPY 275TH BIRTHDAY to Old Leacock Presbyterian Church. Everyone is welcome.

Our 275th Anniversary celebrated by Open House at Old Leacock
Our Church is celebrating its 275th Anniversary in 2015 – dating back to 1740! An Open House has been arranged for the 1st First Wednesday in each of the summer months of June through August. The next Open House will be on Wednesday, July 1st when the old church will be open for tours from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.! Church members in period dress will be on hand to give the tour and answer any questions. The final First Wednesday event will be on August 5th. No reservations are needed, just stop in! The Old Leacock Church is located at the corner of Old Leacock Road and Route 340 – the Old Philadelphia Pike – one mile west of Intercourse.

June Paradise Community Meal
The community is invited to a free hot meal, hosted by the mission committee of Leacock Presbyterian Church, 3181 Lincoln Highway East, Paradise, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 25. The menu will be Hot Dogs and Hamburgers with all the fixings, Macaroni Salad, Chips and Apple Sauce, all topped off with desserts donated by the Weis Market in Gap. The meal will be served in the church’s handicapped accessible basement Fellowship Hall. Readers may call 687-6619 for additional information.
